Cooperation between Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology and Center of Biotechnology

On Wednesday, September 27th, there was a meeting where Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology Jagiellonian University and Center of Biotechnology Silesian University of Technology signed agreement about scientific cooperation.

On behalf of the Jagiellonian University, the document was signed by: Vice-Rector for Research and Structural Funds prof. Stanislaw Kistryn and Director of Malopolska Center of Biotechnology prof. Kazimierz Strzałka and on behalf of the Silesian University of Technology Vice-Rector for Cooperation with the Socio-economic Environment prof. Janusz Kotowicz and Director of Biotechnology Center prof. Andrzej Jarzębski.

Units have declared willingness to cooperate in the implementation of research projects and to raise funds for research and development. The centers are also counting on staff exchanges, especially by doctoral students, which should help to make better use of their equipment and bring new results of high scientific value.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs prof. Wojciech Branicki, Deputy Director CB PŚ Dr. inż. Anna Kasprzycka and the Deputy Director of Scientific Affairs Dr. Artur Góra.
